Thai Yoga Massage for pregnancy is a specially designed sequence for mums-to-be as they experience the mental, physical and emotional demands of pregnancy. Designed with the goal of relieving stress and promoting wellness and balance, this massage technique addresses many common needs affecting pregnant women, including relief from poor sleep, posture imbalance, restless legs, pregnancy related aches and pains, as well as anxiety.
Thai Yoga Massage helps to keep pregnant bodies healthy and balanced not just free from physical pain but also helping your mental and emotional well-being. Amy provides a caring, safe, relaxing and nurturing session for pregnant women using props and tools to adapt and customize your massage whilst incorporating compassion, mindfulness and meditation into your massage.
Suggested attire for receiving your massage are comfortable, stretchy yoga tights or baggy pants and a short or long sleeved t-shirt and clean cotton socks. During winter, the Thai Yoga Massage mat is heated for your comfort and blankets are provided. Before the massage begins, the practitioner will welcome you to the space and ask you to complete a registration and consent form. The techniques will be explained, duration of massage confirmed and a discussion regarding your state of health or injuries as well as your desired outcome and preferred pressure will ensure you are well-cared for during your massage and any customization of techniques will be included.
